Anja Krabbe extends her contract with Lucile-Meisel

The Berlin-based music publisher Lucile-Meisel is continuing its long-term collaboration with composer and lyricist Anja Krabbe.

The extension of the author’s contract consolidates a partnership that has resulted in several chart successes as well as gold and platinum awards. Anja Krabbe has been under contract with Lucile-Meisel since fall 2021.

The author regularly collaborates with pop acts. She has also made a name for herself with compositions for the Friedrichstadt-Palast and film productions, for which she has received the German Film Music Award, among others.

In addition to her creative work, Anja Krabbe has been representing the interests of lyricists as a deputy member of the GEMA Supervisory Board since May 2024.

“We are very pleased that Anja continues to be part of our Lucile Meisel family. Her creativity, professionalism, and extraordinary talent make working with her particularly valuable,” says Kirsten Meisel, managing director of Lucile Meisel. She looks forward to further projects “with great joy.”

Publishing director Marcus Zander highlights Krabbe’s flair for contemporary songs, which provides the publishing house with important impetus, and affirms: “Anja is an incredibly experienced author and, with her passion for songwriting, fits perfectly into the Lucile Meisel team.”

Finally, Anja Krabbe herself comments that she has greatly enjoyed the collaboration over the past few years. The artist adds: “I have always wanted a publishing house to bring creative people and artists together in person so that truly authentic songs and lyrics can be created, and Lucile-Meisels has made this possible time and again in inspiring locations.”
